I've subtitled this thing "Seismology, Earth science, and society"; I envision it being an open version of my research notebook, where I can make my half-baked musings, in-progress work , etc. semi-public. There may be the odd bit of ranting on unrelated topics, but hopefully I'll be able to keep things mostly on-point.
